Directing:
Directing feels like lighting a fire in a dark tunnel. I first tried it onstage, in college, with a student one-act showcase. I felt it then, the surge of connection in helping something come together. Pushing and pulling, and figuring things out, and then watching in wonder as it came to life. I didn't do it again until 2017, and damn I missed it. It's the thing that wakes me up.
- Creak! - 2021 is the first film I've written, produced, directed and edited.
Retch 2018 - voted best film of the Seattle Black Film Festival 2020.
